Is alignment req'd. w/ a 1 / 2 drop?

Is alignment req'd. w/ a 1 / 2 drop?

Is an alignment required with a 1/2 drop? Are stock settings best, and what if autocrossed occationally? Finally, is any hardware needed? I thought I saw a thread re bolt kits.

My truck was out of line from the factory, as are many. Any drop needs a relign...

Like Richard said. Any suspension mod...be it modification or just plain replacement needs to get realigned. Unless you really like buying tires.

Definately get an alignment - to SVT Lightning specs, not the reg. F150 specs.

These specs are for the '99's, I don't know about the other years.

Camber - LH -0.5°, RH -0.5°, Total/split 0°±0.7°

Caster- LH 6.7°, RH 7.2°, Total/split -0.5°±0.7°

Toe (- is toe out) LH -0.05°±0.15° RH -0.05°±0.15° Total/split -0.10° ± 0.25°


This is the information exactly as I got it from Matt at SVT.

Search down....Can someone post part #'s for the NAPA alignment cam/shims needed for lowered L.
