got thermostat in..
got the 170 stat in the truck today.
i highly recomend one if u switched to ele fans.
i hads the fans in for about 4 or 5 months, and then they did come on at operating temp they stayed on and never shut off, now with the new stat they will come on for a while cool things down and turn off..

I got a 160* in with my fan and I almost never have to turn it on......the new water pump and cold stat keep things nice and cool 
I am sure when it warms up a little I will have the fan on more
