Question Lowered Lightning?

I am looking for someone with a 4/6 drop kit on a GII lightning?
Need to know if the stock tire size 295 45 18 will clear and not rub. also if there is any other tire combination that is used with this radical of a drop. thanks for your time and input.

I'm not sure a 4/6 drop is going to work. Here is a picture of my old 295-45-18 tire and rim combination. And here is a picture with my new 294-40-20 tire and rim combination that don't rub. A 4/6 drop is calling it pretty close! I have a 3 1/2 front drop with 4 inch rear drop. My front only has about 1/4 inch clearing. I know a 6 inch rear drop will work because I have 2 inch space.
good luck, djy

This is a picture of how much space I have with the 3 1/2 front drop

4/6 drop??!?!?!

Whoa.
Seems. . .a bit. . .extreme.

You might want to price a nice shiny set lawn mower wheels to go on it, too, because thats about the only size that won't rub with a drop like that.

I don't understand why someone would want to do that to a Lightning of all vehicles, when there are so many regular F150's out there to ruin. . .er. . .modify.
As consumers we beg for more performance vehicles, and when the auto makers throw us a bone, people do this.
But to each their own I guess.
