S. O. Q.

Ok I know that this question has been asked a million times by a million people. But since the search does not work I am asking it again. Which exhaust do you prefer? I am only doing a cat-bac so it is nothing huge. I realize that not much difference in performance. But I do want something more aggressive, and some tips that are easier to maintain.

Thanks for you help.

Smile Where in Georgia?

I had tne JDM/Magnaflow cat-back installed on Feb. 19. Have put 1,800 miles on it. It's one of the best mods I've done. High quality parts, everything 'fit', all stainless, huge(4.5" in dia.) tips give a good, deep, throaty sound but quiet at idle. It's available with two 'bullet'-type Magnaflows and a X-pipe or the single 14568 internal X-pipe that I chose. Set a new best et of 12.673@107.72(from a 12.697@107.02--same track--warmer air temp) last Fri. so it hasn't 'hurt' the truck's performance.

We love our SS Ultraflow. Didn't gain any power, but more importantly, didn't loose any power either. The sound is great as well.

SS Ultraflow????? I have never heard or read anything on that one. Right now I am really leaning toward the JDM product. It seems to be used and enjoyed by a lot of people. More importantly I have not heard any bad things about it. Most others I have heard at least one bad response on. Thats why I am asking this question. I have just about burnt a hole in my pocket waiting to do this.

By the way I am in Augusta, Georgia.

Thanks

I have to admit that the Bassani looks great. Have the tips been fairly easy to maintain. Still look nice.?

Bassani is the way to go if you want your truck to sound mean . One of my favortie mods i have done the tips are huge and shine. Except mine doesnt have the Bassani logo on the tips and the little holes in the tips for im guessing drainage. I think they are putting that on their newer systems ive had mine for over a year now and i really cant wait to get the longtube headers and high flow cats to really make the truck sound mean.

Magnaflow 14416's

I have the Magnaflo 14416's with x-pipe and 4"-5" stainless tips simialr to JDM's silver bullet series. I love the way it sounds it is quiet @ idle and Loud @ WOT. I just love it I did hear the Bassani @ a show and did not like it. I think is sounds like a rattle when @ high rpm's but it is just my opinion (no flames) That is why I chose the dual magnaflow's either way I think you'll be happy when evyone turns there head when you nail it

Getting my exhaust tomorrow

Driving to JDM tomorrow and getting dual magnaflows installed. So I guess that is my decision. The sound and AWESOME tips sold me.
