Updated Dodge Ram SRT-10 info....

From my Mopar Action mag........"Got the room to run it up to 100? That blast will be over in a mere 18 seconds." 18 seconds to 100???? Thats damn slow. Must be a misprint. They say 0-60 in 5 secs. My L makes it to 100 in less than 13 seconds.....

P.S. Magazine lists the tires as 305/35R24s.

18 SECONDS!!!! HAHAHA. Don't they mean 12 seconds. L's rated 1/4 in 13.xx and 100 sumptin. So if we can do it in 13, and they do it in 18, uhh...........we win!

By the "blast being over with",, they mean the truck is stopped. same test (0-100-0) as the GXRS1000 vs Z06 test

Exclamation Beware

I don't think we can stop from 100 mph to 0 in 5 seconds...

You misunderstood SVTDAVE's post. When he says 18 seconds he wasnt talking about 1/4 mile times he was talking about the 0-100 time. Doesnt matter anyway i will believe it when i see it and see one roll up next to me at a light. So i say Dodge just bring it will make the Gen 3 Lightning, if they do make one that is, all the more badder.

Vin, I'm pretty sure BBQ's right when they say 0-100 and back down to 0 in 18 seconds.

I'll say it again:

500hp Ram = 12.9

500hp Lightning = 11's

Not to burst anyboys bubble but you people need to snap out of it. Dodge is going to make this truck and it will easily be able to whip a stock Lightning and yes they will have mods available for it also that when put on will be able to whip a modded Lightning. Do you people think that Ford has the only people in the world who can put out a hot truck. Yes, I love my Lightning and think it is quite fast and yes it costs much less than the Dodge will cost but I guarantee they will sell every one the can make.
Give it up guys.
Chris

BadAzz516, you misunderstood Lightning#838's reply. He's saying that if Lightning's run low 13's at about 100 mph, then the SRT-10 would be about 5 seconds behind. But then of coarse its different distances, so meh, forget that, lol.

Nonetheless, it's gotta be 0-100-0.
