Lakewood Traction Bars

My final coment on the new Lakewood Traction Bars:

Trial Run

Truck jumped straight up and left every time I ran on Sunday, also allowed me to pull two 1.72 60 ft's and two 7.74 sec runs in the 1/8 mile at a track known for little traction.

He's right there! I spun like mad (even getting sideways) off the line yesterday. Several of us had to let off and get back in it to get it straight - not 1badtk though...

Most were on slicks. I didn't have much traction problems other than trying to leave alittle too agressively.

I ran my ET Streets and spun 'em up like I was on smooth asphalt. I used them all last season, maybe they're too worn...

At $90.00 a set, they might last the season, but my truck is hard on everything.

Is there different sizes or part #'s. I was at my local Autozone today and they have a set on display for $29.99.

Yes there are diffenent sizes, the Ford F-150 part number is LAK21910, but if you have Bassini exhaust they may not fit. Ordered mine from Summit, not in their catalog only via web site search. Be ready to send them back if your exhaust has been modified. Or modify the way you install them, but hang on when you hit the throttle and the slicks hook up The truck will jump straight up and plant the rear wheels.
