My friend that I race legend cars with is the head tech at a ford dealer.We went to the dealer today.(He has his own key).He did the plug change NGK TR6 .40 gap in one hour and 4 minutes (WOW).He did not know I was timing him.
While I was there I got a tranny flush,Oil change and rotated tires all for the price of a 6-pack and a pizza.

Oh Yeah ,Just as I was leaving he handed me a new computer for my truck" just in case".

What do you mean computer? Like a new module for when you do mods and need warranty work? If so how much and how does this work? Switch them out? Sorry new here!

Yes a new computer.You can get one at the dealer but they are not plug and play.They have to be reflashed for the key to work.
What happens is the The computer plug into the P.A.T.S (anti theft system).If you unplug the computer and replace it with another one it has to be reflashed for the P.A.T.S system or the key wil not work.

 

Yeah it's nice having someone in the family that works at a Ford dealership.

 

Since he is so fast you should have him pull those plugs and regap them to .04
