Launching

For all of you experts how there, how do i perform a good launch.

What is the best technique(s).

Should i just hold the brake and raise the revs and drop the brake?? That's all i can think off?

And what numbers, RPM wise should i go up to...the more detialed the better

Thanks

Depends on traction, but I think most go around 800rpm or just above idle without slicks and then roll into it.

I always launch at 1500rpm on my F1 tires and get consistant 1.8 60ft times. I do a good smokey burnout and as soon as the lights flash I nail the throtle. good luck

I never spun the tires comming off the line but I had no mercy on the F1s. I always did a long burnout, brought the revs to 1500 and then nailed the gas. This might work for you but you might want to try different launches and see what works.

DROP THE BRAKE FIRST then I would roll into it. TRY TRY TRY.
You are going to have to test it.I tried @1200 and it spun pretty
good but you might have diffrent results. So go try it out on an open road and HAVE FUN.

I've been practicing here and there...trying out different things, there isn't any good areas to practice much though. Too many cops. My friend got a ticket a few days ago for skidding a little tire coming out of a gravel driveway. So i dont know what they say if they saw me burning out..haha Thanks for the tips, I can't wait until a get to go to the track
