Gap for TR6

Will be installing my TR6s tomorrow. What is the recommended gap?

Any tips?

I have heard 38, 40, and 42. We run 40 in our L.

You didn't say what size pulley(if any) you have. It is my understanding(from Sal) that you gap your plugs based on how much extra boost you are producing. For stock to 2 lbs, .044" and from 3-4 lbs. .042", and for 4-5 lbs., .040". You want the gap as wide as you can get while still not having the added boost 'blowin' out the spark.

True, the gap should be dependant on the boost. But I my self along with Dad and the other mechanics felt that 44 and 42 were to big. We run a two pound lower and 75 wet shot.
