Unidentifiable noise...
When I'm slowing down, from around 30 mph, I hear a whirring type noise as the motor drags the blower down to speed. After slowing past 10 mph or so, it'll stop. I think I can hear it a little as I bring it back up to around that speed, but it's WAY more noticable slowing down.
Anybody got any ideas?

I see you have a 2000 L. Have you had the i/c replaced? Maybe the coating on the s/c rotors has flaked off?
Do you hear it at idle? Some have heard a cavitation noise that can be eliminated by raising the idle a few rpms through your chip.

Madhouse,
Sounds like it might be some gear whine. Have you changed out the gears? If you plan on comming to the track for the ICCB tomorrow, try haveing Andre hear it. He might be able to help you.

After listening to it more, it sounds like a gear whine, since it didn't change tone with the rpm of the motor. It goes away when I put it in neutral while rolling, then comes right back when I drop it back into drive. (around 25 mph)
Could be backlash whine comming from the differental, would go away when put in neutral and alowed to coast. Jack it up in the rear, put in gear, accelerate to 30 mph and let off while someone listens from under rear.
