RAOTFLMAO! --got to catch my breath.
Last night at the track, I was two cars back in the staging lanes. There was a 2002 Honda S2000 ahead in the left lane with no one next to him in the right lane. The starter starts waving his hand and so I pulled out and around the car ahead of me and pulled into the right lane, now next to the S2000.
We staged(after a smoke-rollin' burnout by me!). He was a newby and had a little trouble getting the staging lights right. I'm calmly blippin' the throttle(in neutral) to lower the IAT as he get's ready. Third yellow--hammer-time! Oh my! Mt M/Ts hook as my L squats in the rear and raises in the front(thank you Jay Lincoln)--it's grunt time. She ran true, straight, and light on her 'feet' as we bore down that right lane. Screamin' out her joy, we crossed the 1/4 mile to a new best et--12.673@107.72.
The silver S2000 loped in at a lady-like 15.452@92.39.
A friend later told me that the S2000 has 200+(?) HP and is the only-ever rear wheel drive Honda. Japanese 'lice' is nice
