Question Programming PATS II keys

Has anyone had to have a PATS II key reprogrammed here in the DFW area?

I have called several locksmiths and they want anywhere from $150 to $350 just to reprogram the ignition cylinder, not to mention cutting the two replacement keys, changing the tumblers in the doors and replacing the remote. I feel like I have been violated all over again!!!

To make a long story short short someone in the family left there handbag in the Expedition, with a set of keys in it, and it was stolen. I have two boys and I don't carry one, not to point any fingers at anyone!

I've got a locksmith here in Houston that did mine for like 50-60 bucks plus 20-25 for each key the tumblers were like 10-15 a piece don't quote me on it but it wasn't that expensive!!

You can call them and ask... It's Saylor Lock and safe (281)469-8027 ask for Jerry or Sheryl Tell them Ryan sent you and to give you a good price.. I put in a new A/C in there building in like the middle of the night for them real cheap they still owe me bunches plus they were my neighbors for a few years!! Hope this helps!!

Thanks for the info! I will give them a call and see if they can recomend someone here.
