boost dump problem?

At an upshift 2 to 3 at WOT, there was some kind of a boost dump that was never recovered, went down to 5 psi on the gauge and stayeed there, didn't climb with rpm. From a standing start the needle pegs up through the gears. Can I benefit from unpluging my dump solenoid or is that taken care of in the PSP 4-way I'm running? I have a 2# pulley. Could it have anything to do with my new trans. line press. mod. valve? Thanks

Sounds like boost dump. Most often occurs while over reving. Disconnect the solenoid and run it again. If that solves the problem you may want to have Sal double check your shift points to be safe.
