You know the PIN is associated with a Social Security # right?

YES IT IS

I had to use my SSN to get my X-plan pin number. The company I work for offers the plan I had to use there fleet ID number then my SNN to get a pin assigned to me

Pin # IS "linked "to the buyers soc. sec.#.It may not matter:I doubt you'll find a Dlr that will honor purchase plan on the '03 Cobra.Gettin' hard enough to find one that will honor it on an "L"Good luck!

Look in the older messages (about 5 or 6 pages back, depends on when you read this) for a post entitled "Price for 01 L" put there by PhillipSVT. Read the responses. The response from TheHylandr has a link to his instructions on how to get your own X-Plan PIN for free.

You must send it in by March 31.

Good luck.

I've already ordered it from my dealer under the X-plan. They jumped right on it and said no prob.. It's running me just over 32K, 35K being MSRP... Same dealership I bought the L from. I've given them deposit and got the order confirmation. All I need is the pin. They said I didn't need it till I take delivery.. I'm salivating already....
I downloaded the letter and form Hylandr mentioned in an earlier post for the pin acquisition... life is good!

My dealer is doing A-Plan on my '03 Cobra, and they are building 12000 of them, so I really doubt they need to screw people around to make a few dollars, as I am sure there will be plenty sitting around the lots by November. Undy, shoot me an email I can help if no one else has yet.

No flame intended,If they will honor it GREAT!!I work for a Dlr out here and got a memo the other day stating '03 Cobra will have a $3000 OVER MSRP addendum! No exceptions,$1000 non-refundable deposit just to order one! They got $5k over for all our T-birds!And they all sold.Something like 16 of them!Supply and demand I guess.I hear it's even worse on the west coast.-Later.

Lightbulb UNDY 32K TOO HIGH !!!!!

UNDY,
32K is way too high for a X-plan price. They are not giving you the right price sticker is like 32,900. I used X-plan and paid 28,917 with tonnue cover. I think if they give you the X-plan price it should be on a print out that has A plan price and you add 4% to that and there is X plan. I know for a fact A plan is like 27 and change

Hope this helps don't rush into it don't sound righ to me

Lightbulb

Slick, it's for the new Cobra, not the "L".

Hmm, it must of been your dealers addendum. I only put $250 down on my '03, and my salesman only wanted me to put $100 down. I agree with the supply and demand thing, but watch, with 12,000 being built, by November the dealerships will do anything to get rid of the ones that have been sitting. Look at the Lightning, when the 99's came out everyone had to have one. Some paid $5000 over sticker. I stumbled in my dealership in July, put my order in, got A-Plan, plus $1000 rebate (one I should of never gotten). Received my L in August, and everyone was happy.
