I have to walk an extra 200 yards everywhere I go just to try to keep it from happening to me. 132 days of proud ownership and it"s worked so far.

 

Don't park to far out! I was so cautious about someone dinging or scratching my truck that I would park where I was sure no one would want to park, because it would be a long walk for most lazy people. Anyways sure enough one day instead of a scratch or a ding I get a good side hit on the passenger bed side. No note or anything, made me sick as hell. Anyways, now I just park where ever. But I usually try to get a spot where no one will park next to my passenger side. Because odds are better that a vechicle parked on my driver side will not have a passenger to open their door.

 

I've learned that instead of parking way out or between empty spaces (where who knows what will pull in next to you to gawk and then slam you) I try to find a space between two nice vehicles that I know take pride in their rides too.

Park next to 4doors, because their doors are usually shorter than those 2drs with those long doors. Like the camaro/firebirds.

That is who I called for my door ding.They fixed it in 10 minutes and I could not even tell where the dent was.

 

I had a socket fly off of my impact gun and hit my Pantera.
I got Dent Doctor to fix it.I was shocked at the job he did.
If I tried to do what he did,I would have wrecked the quarterpanel.I am still amazed,
