I installed RAAMat , MTX thunderform , Alpine 357, Alpine 7873 in the Lightning. Thought you may want to see the Lightning gutted out.

Looks tight! Are you using the amps to push through the factory speakers or did you already install some aftermarket units?

Ben,
I have some Components coming, I actuall found a 5x7 component setup, it rates the same as the 6.5 setup they have , also putting some 6x8 inrear. but actually with the factory speaks it sounds awesome, have gains down , but it suprised me. New speakers hopefully will show today. just had time to do this so I jumped on it.

Where do you plan on installing the component tweets? I was considering the area by the side mirrors under the a-pillar.

I have the same Alpine 357 amp with the MTX Thunderform. Where are you planning on mounting the amp?

I removed the Stock and head along time ago, I put in the Alpine 7873 headunit.

Kingpin, I looked around alot the only place to put it was under the passenger seat, I removed the jack and the bracket, it fit great, I can get to the crossovers and gains from the front and there was plenty of space above it for airflow, the amp has yet to get hot at all.

I'm looking into the same mod with very similar equipment. The jack is the only stumbling block.

Where did you put the jack?

Just an FYI i mounted my amps IN the passenger seat. Surprisingly they fit well, and i was able to retain the jack. I will try to take some pics of it for ya all.
