Hey clonetek...i have a couple questions for ya...

1) I was looking at how you mounted your amps....did you have to drill through the back of the truck? How exactly did you mount those things?? I was looking for a good spot to put a couple amps I have...

2)Where did you get that lightning piece above the deck?? I think it looks great and absolutely have to have one!!

thanks man...

1: the amps are mounted to a board that is screwed into the back wall of the truck. the back wall is double layered.
no screws poke out the back of the truck. lol

2: the guy that made the plaque doesn't make them any more..

hope this helps..

Hey Clonetek i was looking at doing L7's with the kicked 800 something amp. Supposed to be around 1100 watts.

They are saying the don't think the can get decent airspace with the 12's and still have room for the amp. I really would prefer to do the 12's over the 10's.

Any advice?

Thanks

Its expensive, but i've seen people do fiberglass cutouts into their truck bed and mount 3 jl12w3's there, but the bass just hurt,,, sounded great, but turned up it shook you so hard it hurt, who would ever need that?? I run two jl 10's and can still give me and the person in the car next to me a full body massage, thats all i need

My friends and I made a box with 1.0 cu ft per chamber for the L. You can see it here: www.evilsvt.com/audio.html My truck is going to get gutted again today for another amp and component speakers are going mid week.

Thats nice. I wonder if that would work. My Lanzar amp for my MB quarts will fit under the seat i think. But the kicker amp is pretty long. Gonna have them take a look today and see what they think.

Thanks

Ashenor: all you need for the solobarics is .88 cubic feet..

you could always mount the large amp in the bed of the truck, if you have a bedcover..
