Question Who's relocated their cd changer?

I'm installing an MTX Thunderform; and I'm trying to find a place to put my changer. Any suggestions? Does anyone sell brackets that would let me mount the changer horizontally? The current brackets are too tall. Most importantly, how much will the added weight of the subs slow me down?

Thanks in advance,
Edward

I installed mine under the middle seat using L brackets from home depot. Its solid, out of the way, and more accessible when driving. Subs and a box shouldn't slow you down at all.

Installed my changer the same way. Just don't forget to change the switch setting from vertical to horizontal, otherwise it may not operate properly.

I also relocated it to under the middle seat and i used velcro to hold it on to the carpet, I think the vlecro is better because whenever i push the seat up i have to move the cd player a little bit and with the velcro it is a breeze

I installed a Kenwood 6 disk changer under the passenger seat with access from the front. The 2 10 inch MTX thunderform in its custom box fit sweet behind the seats and thumps. I get a bass massage everytime I turn it up. I also put in an MTX amp under the driver seat to power the subs.

My Sony Xplode 10-CD changer with cover. I get a crappie message with my MTX 8-inchers.
