Metco interchangeable pulley installed and the mid range

FYI guys

I had the metco interchageable upper pulley installed on my truck in orlando last weekend.

I did some testing with it (small one) and its good for about 1.5 psi of boost. My gauge registers a peak of 15.5 psi at the 3/4 shift during wot and holds 13/14 psi from tip in and the mid range hits harder to boot.

Thumbs up

Hey Bob
I am glad you like the new Pulley, do you have a lower pullet too, It sounds like you do.

I run a 2# lower and the Metco upper. and I had the same expieriance you did when I added the upper. I like the combo so much I never put the larger one on.

Don......I think I remember Bob saying that he purged and got a 6# lower one day. He was complaining of being an excessive compulsive......actually now that I think about it alot of us on these boards fall under the same category

LOL guys -

I am running the PSP 4 lb pulley for right now. I am happy with the boost and power curve this truck makes. I can tell you this in cold air this thing will make 17lbs of boost. Early in february I was getting 14psi with the stock upper and a 2lb lower. So I am confident it will do it.

Next up after long tubes - ET streets and N2o

BTW Bob nitrous is NO2

Just my $.02.......you better not get NO2 on the stock rods or we will be reading about how you need to find a dealer who will replace your engine. You are running too much boost for nitrous.
