How much is a new airbox?

Any one remember/know how much a new airbox is for a 2001 L? I'm thinking of cutting a hole and making a ram-air system and I've heard that guys with this setup have had their warranty voided. I know it has been discussed before, but no search still....

If the dealership tries to void your warranty, then that is BS!! Don't let them push you around just because they don't want to fork over the parts and labor. A little more air never hurt anything... in fact, I am gonna make my own ram air system this weekend and from what others have said it will only improve performance!

They haven't tried to void my warranty, but I've seen posts on here about it happening to people. I just want to hedge my bets in case I decide to do it and then need warranty work sometime.

I priced one from Ford, its 375 bucks. Thats when I decided to just remove the bottom half and run with a K&N strapped to the Top. I can put the bottom back on anytime I want.

I've got my stock 2000 airbox, filter, and boot. I'd be willing to let it go, shoot me an e-mail if interested.
