Question Install Expedition 2003 rear end?

I have heard through the grapevine that the 2003 Ford Expedtion has an independent rear end in it.? Would this be a great upgrade for the L or what? I has the 9.5 rear in it and a 5.4 I think it would handle 500 plus hp with a few mods. I think this would be the body roll fix we are looking for?

Post may be more trouble than it's worth...

particularly if you drag race a lot. Wheel hop is bad, and the axle shafts have a hard enough time with the normally aspirated Cobra - imagine the drive train shock that will be introduced by a 4800 pound truck launching...

For what it purports to do, the Mustang / Cobra IRS doesn't handle significantly better than the old suspension...

Horsepower isn't the problem. Will it handle 450+ pound-feet of torque?
