AAA / Wheel Exchange

I've noticed on Ebay that AAA sells the chrome 20 inch replicas for alot less that The Wheel Exchange. Are these the same wheels? Why are the AAA wheels so much less $? Is it a quality issue.
Thanks for any help.

Guapo,

Just got my chrome 20's from AAA. I would have to rate the rims a 9 out of 10. They are awesome. I think the wheels from wheel exchange come with the tires that is why they are more. The good thing about AAArims is that they take your old rims as trades. Best investment I made on my L.

I paid $2700 for 20 inch 01 chrome replicas delivered to my door with Dunlop 295/40/20 mounted and balanced with special flush mounted valve stems.
If you break that down, the tires are on tire rack for $322 each.(I do not know if shipping is included).that is $1288.Still have to have them mounted and balanced. That is about $10 each(if you can find somebody that does 20 inch wheels). That is $40 more. Now you have to buy wheels and have them delivered. Then take all that to get mounted.Does not make sense!!
I thought $2700 delivered was a good deal and still think it.I have gotten many compliments and was overall happy with wheels.Get the package deal.Cheaper.
Just my 2 cents

I have been doing research on getting a set of 18" chrome rims for my 2001 L, and I have only heard good things about AAA. Although, they are more expensive than any other place I have done research on. Sounds like they are a quality business!

jrjen2,

You might want to conside getting 20's. I was going to get 18's until I saw the 20's on an L. They fill in quite nice. Not to big, not too small. I got 295/40/20 Goodyear tires for $212 each. I gave my 18's back to AAA and got $600 and sold my F1's for $400. My .02.

What is the website to AAA?
I am also deciding between 18s and 20s.
