I am an underwriter for a nationwide insurance company and thought I'd let you know that for you to get a reasonably accurate quote on insurance, you'd have to call different companies. Too many factors go into a quote and could deviate by thousands of dollars from person to person, location to location.

A common misconception is that premium is mainly driven by how much a vehicle is worth and how old it is. The major premium charge is driven by the actual driver of the vehicle. So if you have good rates on what you drive now, a different vehicle shouldn't affect your premium by that much. 3 speeding tickets and/or accidents and it's a different story!

Have you heard the term LIABILITY !!!

Well I'm 30, have a clean record, and I'm married. My '02 is $1020 a year so yours should be around 900 I would guess.
