Can waranty work on svt vehicles be performed at a regular ford dealer or can waranty work online be performed at svt dealers?

Yep. Doesn't matter. Take it where you think it will be cared for the best. Mine goes to my local Lincoln dealer.

 

Do they seem to be more mod friendly than Ford dealers?

 

I wouldn't say that they're necessarily more 'mod friendly'. I think they just don't look for mods the way an SVT dealer might be inclined to.

The dealer I go to seems pleased just having the truck there for service. They don't see many of them, and I know the techs love working on it for that reason too.

So far I haven't had any issues with the quality of service, plus I save myself a 30 mile round trip drive.
