need help finding a hood

so far i've yet to see a hood i really like, i've glanced through several hundred threads regarding hoods and they all look the same to me, none look intimidating enough for a truck i guess,,, Anyways, although they all look nice in the hood bananza thread, i still haven't found the right one for me. I have a silver 01L. Does anyone know of any shops in detroit area i could pay to make one for me, i'll attach a picture of a hood i like but am not so sure it would fit on an L. This one i see here is on a salleen mustang. I hope someone can help, i've been itching for a better looking hood since day one, and now with tax returns

Ask Sal. He has a custom hood similar to that.

Toast. . .you're right.

I've been searching for months. They all look. . .too nice.

On top of that, any hood that even remotely looks cool, EVERYONE and their mama has it already.

Sucks.

The search goes on. . .

Wrongday,, if i find a good mean looking hood i'll have to give you an email and let you in on it. Something else has come to mind though,, i wonder if they make a proglass shaker hood with a larger hood scoop, or perhaps a different style hood,,, i hope i find one soon, i'd love to have one installed by summer. All the hoods do look good, in fact most people i ask for opinions of tell me to get the aad cobra hood, it does look great, but i don't have a nos system to purge through it to make it look better, and it just seems like its not quite there as far as how mean it looks. Others out there seem to look way too pronounced or out of place on the L. Tuners,, someone, any fiberglass person, please help. right now i like the shaker hood and the cobra f1 hood the best, i really do wish we had a better selection that i could get a look at. I see so much potential when i look at my L. So far we have cowl style, cobra style, hood scoops, krummer style ( screan name is krummer and its on his truck), psp style is custum made for him, cervini style, shaker style, so far nothing has caught my eye,,, too bad though, it'd be great to spend my money once i ind the one i like.

ps,, shaker hood, ss/saleen/psp style hoods all have promise,, maybe i'd have to see one in person first.

I'm to the point now where I'm gonna buy a junk yard pull off hood and start experimenting on my own.

Drop me your e-mail address. . .I have this idea, I just don't know too much about bodywork or painting.

Later,

Thumbs up

I'm in between the Cobra F1 hood, and the Shaker Hood..

But if someone made a hood with this scoop on it, then I'd probably buy one!
