Question air leak in rear window trim?

I could swear that there's an air leak on the driver's side rear window, and it looks like there's a gap between the glass and the chunky big plastic trim there too.
On the passenger side, the road noise is not as noticable (and no, my ears are equal!) even with the exhaust on that side.
I know that there are cabin vents on both sides behind the seats, but this sounds right by my ear...
Could've sworn that Fords have had this type of problem over the years with the new F150 body.
anybody?

Both our 99 and 01 have a leak in the back window, on the drivers side, just about over your head. Not a huge leak, but enough that when I was the truck I can see a trail of water down the inside of the glass. Every other owner I've talked to with this leak also had it in the same spot. Weird. Must be a standard feature Ford left off the window sticker.

MIne leaked both air and rain. The dealer replaced the entire window and frame (for free!) and no leaks since. This was definitely some sort of factory problem. The new window and frame is a slightly different design.

I asked my service writer if he's seen this before and he said no...maybe cuz we live in the desert!

Mine doesn't leak but the sliding window does rattle its a$$ off while going down the road. It drives me crazy. I'm thinking of getting that removable window (the breezer) instead of getting it fixed.
