shaving the antenna on the truck?

This weekend I pulled my headers and exhaust cats, and also pulled off the emblems ont he truck and tailgate (they where a pain!). While I'm at it and I'm getting my tailgate and roll pan painted I was thinking about shaving the antenna on the truck. I took it all off and I think it would look so nice without it.

Have any of you done this mod, or do you know anybody who has.

It isn't too big of a hole. The fender is easy to take off also.

I'll probably do mine while the fender is off.
