Times are really not good.Strong headwind, about 20+ knots.Saw JDM's truck run a 12.2 I think. That was the best Gen 2.Most were turning High 12s and low 13s.Jim said he ran low 11 on friday but trimmed back due to lack of cage.

Even though he didn't run,Rob G's truck stole the show.

Cool

I was told times were slow because of windy conditions and that JDM ran a 12.06 and Tim B. ran like a 12.42 on saturday, most everyone else was 12.80's or higher!

Three top qualifiers were not gen2s....2Rangers and a gen1. Top Gen2 qualifier was .......oops I don't know his name.....he ran 12.00 on nitrous. Jim was detuned to 12.06 and I qualified 6th with a 12.40. Nasty headwind and 80+ degrees w/70% humidity.

Did run a 12.24 Friday night when it was a little cooler..........but that didn't count.

Hey Tim. Was nice meeting you. I still say that your Gen 1 should go to me instead of your son!

Every little bit helps... Wasn't that 12.40 really a 12.39?

Talking

How many girls were in RobG's truck That usually works when he is showing it...the judges never actually see the truck

Kidding aside, I assume that Rob's truck was the show stopper as usual??

Rob....how much "sand" have you found in Florida??

...Dwight...

Doug, funny... Seems you were taking pictures of the same spectators that I was. I spent more times in the stands at that race than any other event that Ive been to recently

They just caught my eye... The mother and her son- How could I not take a picture? The color contrast between her shirt and yellow bag was just screaming for a picture.......

JDM Jim hooked me up on Saturday, I tossed my 80mm Pro-M for a 90mm setup, new conical filter, and a fresh custom burn on my chip. I was running 13.30's prior to that, and now the truck feels considerably stronger the whole way through the rpm range. Can't wait to go get some fresh time slips. I just wanted to give Jim a thumbs-up and a thank-you. Mine was the Silver '00 with chrome wheels sitting forlorn next to the JDM tent all day waiting to get its transplant. Rob G's truck WAS sharp, I was tossing around the idea of ripping-off his paint scheme to do a Mineral Gray with a thin orange border hood/nose on my silver truck. Would match my KTM520 perfectly for pimping at the hare scrambles. But....I'll just leave it alone. I'm pretty happy with my less is more approach. Don't know if I met any of you guys there, but...we're all probably still Q-tipping dirt out of our ears. That wind was a pain in the a$$.
