I don't know if people arleady know this, but I came across it looking for something the other night, and thought it might be helpful.

If you are looking for a thread, and you know the person who started it, using the option at the bottom of the page you can display all the threads based on topic starter and it's alphabetical. It's not a search, but it can really help you find a thread if you know who started it.

Also you can search by # of views. I have done this to find threads which are important and lots of people have viewed them.

 

Also, you can use searchs like GOOGLE or MetaCrawler, now it's very likely that you end up with lots of junk, but that's how I originally found this website, is that I did a search on one of those, and came across a thread with SVT Lightning in it.
