im getting an srt 10
well all this talk of the srt 10 has got me kinda interested so i went around to a couple of dealers none of the sales people could give me any info, actually all of them but 1 didnt even know what the hell i was talking about so i called the 1-800 # they told me that there would be no info or possibilty of seeing or owning 1 untill sept 2002,as far as the dodge trucks go they are a little more roomy then the L other then that i dont know much.Im kinda glad its not comming until sept hopefully ford will know whats going on with the future L and i wont have to jump ship!!
Can't wait
I can not wait until those SRT-10's come out. The people who buy them will want to race our L's but will end up racing to the Dodge garage to get them fixed.

In November of 2001 I contacted a SVT dealer in Atlanta via email asking about Lightnings. I mentioned in my letter that I wanted a silver one.
This is part of their reply, "Johnie thanks for your letter and interest in a new ford lightning. However the Lightning is only sold in 3 colors Red Black and White. We have a white one and a red one in the lot now. This is a limited production..." blah blah blah.....
The letter went on and on about how rare the Lightning was and how I needed to get there as soon as I could to put down a deposit on the truck.
I replied back with a link to the SVT website and told him I would rather not do business with a complete moron. That was the last I ever heard from them.
