What is the X plan? I've heard of it, just don't know what it is?

 

The X-Plan is a program in which buyer's will get a new vehicle for 4% above dealer cost I think. The downside to this is to get a PIN you needed to join the EAA before Dec. 1 last year I think. Now you will need to be a member for a year before you can get a PIN. I am sure their are guys on here that have PIN's you could use, buying one for a few bucks could save you about 3-4000 in the long run.

The X Plan allows you to purchase a Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Volvo or Land Rover vehicle at 4% over the A Plan price. The A Plan price is the Ford employee price. The X Plan price usually works out BELOW the dealer invoice price. The dealer also cannot charge you any document or processing fees. I bought my Lightning under the X Plan and did quite well Not all dealers will sell a SVT product under the X Plan, so ask them first.

Additionally, you do not have to join the EAA to use the plan, all you have to be is a friend, and since you are all MY friends, I will offer the plan to you. It has to be faxed or postmarked by 31MAR02, so get it in fast.
