Pulley Install

About how long does it take to install a lower blower pulley? If it is not to hard I am going to install my 4lb pulley tonight.

The first(I've put on three) one is a liitle tough. Depending on how 'tight' the crank bolt is and how strong you are and how much leverage you are able to get. You must have it up on sturdy jack stands if you don't have use of a lift. You will be underneath and pulling your breaker-bar while pushing against a tire with your feet.

Having said all that, it should take about an hour--or less--if you have the needed tools and don't have to rush off to Sears . I am also making the assumption that you are installing one of Sal's or JL's pulleys, because I'm not familiar with JDM's.

I am installing one of Sal's pulleys. The only thing I have a question on is how does the new pulley attach? Looking at the instruction the '01 attach differnet than the 99 and 00. I guess it will become obivious once I remove the original pulley.

there should be 3 bolts in the kit that hold the pulley to the crank pulley. thats it.

You can do it yourself, its a workout the first time though.
