PWR_WHLS---To be honest with you I bought the front mask/bra in 99 for my first Lightning! It has held up very well I ordered it over the phone. I recieved a catalog from the Ford Collection last week sometime and it did have the Lightning mask/bra and Lightning car cover listed. Sorry but I threw away the catalog and don't have the part numbers. I purchased both the cover and front bra in 99 and both have held up well. I can recommend both without hesitation

Thats the correct part # for the Front End Mask as Ford calls it S10159. FYI the part #S10157 is the Lightning Car Cover $229.00

SVT, I was just in your situation. I just picked up a sweet bra from Colgan Custom in Fountain Valley California. I've never seen a better fitting bra. It completely covers the air damn and grille. Its guaranteed for 5 years and up to 100mph--no flap!
I'll try to post some pics.

powerfiend,

Please post pics. I purchased the bra from the ford collection but I don't like the fit. I don't know if the bra from Colgan Custom is different but if it is I may go with that. Thanks.

I know this sounds strange but....

My friend drives from tampa here in florida to michigan every summer. The amount of bugs he hits is just sick. He wipes a medium layer of vasoline on the front piece nice and even. When you get where your going just hose them right off. That doesnt help your windshield or help against rocks but its better bra IMO ,at least you cant see the vasoline when its on there, especially if your truck is white or silver. It does work though...

Im kinda of the mindset that you might as well drive it and have it look nice and not worry about damage all the time. I mean, your using it. If you want a model buy a model. After 10 years sure maybe your front clip will look awesome, but everything else will likely be falling apart. Whats the point?

At some point you buy something then never use it because it will get messed up, just doesnt make sense.
