Does anyone here have an electric water pump on there Gen II Lightning? How did you route the belts? Thanks. I'm thinking about getting the Meziere electric pump(wp346). Maybe drop the A/C also. Would appreciate help. Thanks.

 

I don't think our trucks have a belt driven water pump anyway.

Look at pics of the cobraR unit. I think its gear driven somehow, I've never taken my off so I don't know for sure.

 

It's belt driven.......I am doing the mod right now.

I run an electric water pump and one of the other bonus' is you don't run a thermostat. Works great. I de-vaned the pump and now it is acting as just a pulley.

 

Babolt, what brand electric pump are you using? You have the electric pump wired into a sending unit to turn on and off at a specific temp? Do you have any pictures you would be willing to share? Thanks.

I haven't done the cobra R water pump yet, but I have electric fan on my truck so this would probably be better to do.
