Online Store Bell Tech 3/4 Lowering Kit

I went through the whole process of ordering a lowering kit from the store until I got to the submit button. At that point I saw "Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for delivery". I canceled the order. I don't want to wait THAT long!

What can anybody tell me about their experiences with shipping from the online store? Did it take that long? I want to help support this site but if it takes that long, I don't know.

They have always been really good with there shipping so I wouldn't worry about it. I got mine ahead of time infact.

If you do order the kit, don't buy the bell tech shocks cause they suck.

Get the doetsch shocks that DJY and RobG have. I have the part numbers if you want them, there cheap too! same as bell techs.

Contact Roger Lemere directly and get a real shipping expectation.
Always good service. Highly recommended.

There's another twist. I didn't realize I had to change shocks. The stock ones won't work?

I would appreciate the part numbers for the doetsch shocks. I'll just have to take your word on the quality of the shocks because I don't know.

Thanks KILLA

Ckikenears, I Rob has the Doetsch Tech # 4069G on the front and #DT 4112G for the rear. As for DJY1 I believe he has # 4180G Doetsch Tech Shocks Nitro Slammer Drop Truck for the rear and Edelbrock # 33987 for the front. Dageon

Thanks Daegon,

By chance, you wouldn't live near Big View Drive would you? I have a friend that lives there and if you do live near there I would like you to go by his house and slap the $h!t out of him for me.

He's a great guy and a computer genius!

Hey Chickenears
Why do you want a 3/4 drop, have you thought about a 1/2 or a 2/2 drop?

The reason I ask the 1/2 drop will be better for drag racing, and with the 3/4 drop the front hangers for your traction bars might scrape once in a while.

With your tire rim combo I think you will like the looks of a 1/2 drop.

Chikenears, I'm not sure where Big View dr. is. Tell you what though if you give me a days notice I have it taken care of. We'll call it even for I owe you. Dageon

Don,

Yeah, I've given it some thought and the front hangers will be close. I want to fill up the wheel openings a lot more and I know for sure that the 3/4 drop will do it. Now, if I had a 45 series tires things might be different. I have a huge gap between the tires and wheel openings now. If I had only known, I would have bought 45 series tires. This will give me a chance to burn the crap out of the 40 series tires and get some 45's.

If I have a problem with the front hangers dragging, that can be fixed too. I don't drive my L everyday. It's never even been rained on.

Do you need a camber adjustment if you go with the 1/2 drop?
