anyone know of a good

place to upload videos?

I have a few, between 3200K and 4500K file sizes, that i want to upload.

ALSO
Why would a L build 10 lbs of boost one night but only 6lbs the next night? its a new truck (~600miles) It wasn't just a gauge thing... you could feel the differance big time.

btw it was about 10 deg colder outside tonight than last night.

Thanks
Johnie

Talking

It's your HIGH beams, it's cutting your boost!!! Look at both pictures, and you'll see what I"m talking about. Remember, keep your HIGH beams off when you race!

j/k I have no idea. just before making 6 lbs of boost, did you by chance hit the rev limiter? Looks like for some reaon it's dumping boost. <shurg> It's late, and I'm out of idea. sorry.

Sounds like boost dump, or One other thing is alot of 02's so far have had a pulley problem on the supercharger setup. You may want to check to make sure your not having that problem!! One guy just posted a pulley coming off his truck!! Something similar could be happening makeing your belt slip!

I would look into the idler/pulley/belt slippage angle. When it dumps boost it doesn't do it partially, it sits dead on "0" when it dumps.

LOL@BLackBoLT99... i knew someone would mention that. I emailed my brother both videos and his reply was "wow man those high beams really slow your truck down" hahaha

Anyway,
It wasn't a dump. from 0-80mph it sit right on 6lbs the entire time.

the eaton whine is loud enough I coundn't hear if belt is (was) slipping. I don't see any black 'belt powder' anywhere under the hood. How would I check that out? Signs to look for?

Also since the search is still down can anyone point me towards the thread talking about pully problems? or have anymore info in this?

Thanks
Johnie

Anyone?

links or more information on the above mentioned pully problem?

On the other subject in my original post, anyone know a good place to upload my videos to share with others? I tried to use tripod and geocities in the past but both places killed the accounts pretty quickly.

Thanks for any information you can give me on either subject!

The temperature and the barometer have a HUGE affect on the way a supercharger makes boost. I've had a Vortech supercharger on my Mustang for over two years now, and I can tell you that I can make up to 3 more pounds of boost on a cool dense-air day in April than I can on a muggy August day.

Blowers LOVE cold, dense air!

Well that’s the weird part of it all.

The first picture was night before last. Outside temp was 49
The second picture was last night. Outside temp was 38!

So in my mind it should have been making MORE boost last night.
or at least the "factory 8psi"....... And like I said before it wasn’t just a gauge issue, it was much slower, the power just wasn’t there.

Now today on the way to work I got into it a little and as normal the boost jumped up to 10lbs and it pulled hard like normal...

So I don’t have a clue what was wrong last night.

ICULOKN and BLackBoLT99 mentioned a pulley problem with the 02's so I’m now trying to find out exactly what that problem was so I know what to look for.

Thanks
Johnie

My truck used to make 12.5/13 lbs of boost but now it will only make around 11. I believe my problem is belt slippage. I don't know what else it could be. I know turbo cars run less boost the more efficient you make them but I don't think thats my problem. If it was then I would be running a much better mph in the 1/4.
