Wax test

Nice test where one guy tested Zaino versus the other waxes. Interesting results, although I must admit I am not surprised.

What I found interesting was Sal's response. It states exactly what I've seen happen to "waxes" in the summer time. If you want to see for yourself, just leave a candle stick on the hood on a nice hot sunny day like we get here in Georgia.

Hey corner, I'm in the same town as you. And yeah I know what you mean about those hot Georgia days. Just got my 02 about 3 weeks ago. What color is yours? I have seen a few around town.

As a former Mequiar's loyalist and current Zaino user, here is my .02:

1. Multiple coats of any swirl removing product is needed to fill in the swirl marks without the use of a high speed buffer.

2. The new zfx additive for Zaino eliminates the waiting time for removal.

3. Here is link to another "independent" test which I thought was pretty objective that addresses longetivity.

If you want longevity, try NuFinish, or Liquid Glass

I live off of Washington Road back in the apartments behind Outback Steak House. You might have seen DL (red '01) or Jeff (red '01) or Robbie (red '99) riding around. There are about 12-14 Lightning's around Augusta. Seems to be more than any other place I know of.

You should try to come out the SVT Cobra Day at Carolina Dragway in Jackson. It's only about 15 minutes from Augusta. We had about 50 vehicles there last year. This will be our fourth event there. The details can be found over on http://www.svtcobraclub.com.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I am going to try to be there. I agree with you that there seem to be more here than anywhere else. but heck Augusta is a truck town.
