Bed And Cab Alignment

I have seen a few pics of trucks on here that have the same problem as me. The bed and the cab appear to not align with each other.

From what I can tell by looking underneath, it appears that the cab needs to be shimmed up to align with the bed.

Has anybody attempted to correct this missalignment with success? What did you have to do?

Tim

What were you doing, tapping JDM's phone? I had just got them ordered when you posted about it. LOL

RTKILLA,

Either you guess real good or you tapped their line too. That's why I like to order online, SSL encrypted. LOL

Well I'm not even sure if i'm going to get the entire system yet either but if I can sell the full bassani on my truck, I might aswell get the best for the baddest ride pound for pound.

I just want good parts for my truck, nomatter where I get them.
I just prefer to stick to the same base as much as possible.

Oh, I see. Did you order the entire system? All I got was the Jet Coated headers and cats. Also, a four pound pulley.

I'm going to give my Bassani a try first. The sound decible level is suppose to be the same as the silver bullit. I don't want to give up my Bassani for any other catback, I love it. It's got to sound awesome with the headers and cats.

Two days after I bought my truck, I found out that the bed was off by 3/4 of an inch. I took it to the dealer to get it fixed--they needed all day to fix it. Now it is only off by 1/4 of an inch. I would leave it alone unless you want to risk making it worse.
