i know this has been beatin to death,but i want to change my plugs and want to know how the feul rails come off do they just pull off?? and do they come apart at the injector or should i remove the injector and all??

 

It's not necessary to remove the fuel rails. Get lots of extenions in 3/8 and 1/4 drive. You must have the 7mm swoggle socket to remove the coil packs and some patience. It looks tough but can be accomplished with the correct tools.

 

SVT360, I removed my fuel rails when I changed my plugs. It
made the whole task easier. Yes, they pull straight up off the
injectors. Just make sure you have the injector which has a small
"o" ring on each end to seal it , lined up with the female orfice
on the fuel rail when you reinstall them.
Take your time and its pretty easy.

I wouldn't bother with pulling the fuel rails either. Just use extensions and take your time. It's really not that bad of job if you have plenty of time and don't let the looks of it overwhelm you.
