Welp, include me in the motor replacement syndrome of the L2s. Got the sad news today. Expected it, but it still sucks. Amazingly they gave it back to me while they wait for the motor. And they replaced my right hand fog light. Now if only they can do this swap right and keep my L pristine as it is now.

 

why are you getting a new motor. what happened? That is cool that you are getting a new one.

 

i agree,,definately cool your getting a new motor, doesn't look like you have so many mods. Just curious how you blew it though?? I dont remember seeing post

Didn't blow it, not completely at least. Lower end knock, sounds like a diesel. (Surely you've heard that one) Finally took it in when I was satisfied that there would be no more of the lot of engines mine was a part of. Only 10.5K on the ticker.

 

That really blows, but atleast there is a happy ending
