Question Iculokn

Have you figured out what caused the wheel hop at the strip with the slicks? If you posted anything about it, I must have missed it.

Raw power with the wrong shocks and/or traction bars and my drop kit is the only guess we all can come up with. Got some new parts coming in this week.... Hopefully over the weekend I will know whats up and post info....

Richard,

I was talking to a friend that drag races a lot, and has for years. We were talking about your problem with wheel hop and he said that slicks were real finicky. One or two pounds of air pressure can make a huge difference. He races a 68 Nova and runs only 8.5 lbs of air in them (Hoosiers). He has his screwed to the wheels.
