Question Outside Mirror Question

It warmed up in the midwest over the weekend, I dusted off the L and added a few miles to the odometer. I mostly drive my F350 Super Duty diesel, so maybe I'm off base, but I seemed to notice a significant blind spot with the driver's side outside mirror. I adjusted it to no avail, and have it set out so far that I can't see the flair on the bed. I am curious if anyone else has noticed this and if so have you added a convex mirror, or just went the old saying "what's behind me is not important." Thanks, Bob

3" round convex mirrors on all of my trucks. Bottom outer edge. Don't need to turn your head anymore. In fact, I think I use the convex mirror more than the rest of the mirror.
