Rear tires

I damaged my two rear rims on Friday, and well luckily my dealer has agreed to cover the cost of replacing the wheels. But i have to pay for the tires myself. Seems fair to me. But before I do it I want to consider my options. What is the widest rear tire I can fit on the stock 02 rims????? I realize that I will not be able to cross rotate, but that is not a concern. Any suggestions. I have seen many of you talking about 305's, is this the widest the rear can hold? If so thanks for your help.

just call Tire Rack and Get the Good Year F1's

You can get the Good Year Supercar Tires, but they require a wider rim

Well the dealer has also agreed to pick up the cost of the tires. So now it is really a moot point. But from talking to others a 305 is the largest recommended tire size for the rim.
