Angry Do I have a problem ?

Hmmmmmm ... Seems I remember the L's
exhaust tips being ceramic. Mine seem to
be stainless steel ... Did someone steal them
from the dealer? I shoulda checked that out,
I know, but hopefully they will correct it ...

Thanks for the help ...

How do you know they are SS ?

These are the stock tips that are mild steel coated with ceramic coating when they were new and VERY clean

That picture was taken 2 years ago when the tips were newer. All I did was wash the truck and clean the tips with the same textured bug sponge I am still using... Elbow grease, bug sponge, Ceramabryte and the summer Texas sun...

I did "work" the sun... I moved the truck and the camera to get the most out of the reflection.
It was the first 'How-To" I added to my website
http://www.svtlightnings.com/svt/tips/ceramabryte.htm

Here is another pic taken the same day.... Less cooperation from the sun

You wouldnt wantg to see them now...Age and abuse have taken thier toll...

Yes, you have o.c.d. It seems to be a common affliction among Lightning owners.

Those look like regular tips to me...they're cermic coated... They don't give off a polished shine or anything...they've be gleamy with clean, but still an ash grey color.
