Wanted...picture of 02 or 01 white Lightning

Anybody have a picture of either a 01 or 02 lightning with dark windows and chrome rims? I am considering this for next truck. I am hoping by the end of April I will have enough money saved up for my next truck. My only problem is picking a color. I like my black 99L, but keeping it clean is just to much for me especially living in an apartment complex. Don't worry though I do have a 2 car garage for it. Also, is white still available for 02? Or is it silver? I have heard both and Ford's website says both are available, but I thought I remember hearing Ford was dropping white. I like the true blue, but it is not quite blue enough for me. The red is awesome, and silver just does not do it for me personally. So basically I am stuck between red or white. Someone help me out here

Thanks again,

Mike B.

My advice, go with the white. Speaking from experience and all. It just stands out more. 'Course after saying that, there'll probably be a color debate now.

From what the peoples have been saying here, is that at first white wasn't offered on the 02's. But apparently Ford brought it back. I suggest going or calling your local or nearest SVT dealership and seing if that's true or not. Go right to the horses mouth as they say.

By the time you've saved the money you'll have made the right decision, and that's silver

Chikenears - Thanks you, thank you. I totally agree. Besides the main advantage is the speed of the Silver L's. They are faster aren't they?

I think that silver is two tenths faster in the quarter mile, right?

Man that L looks good in the snow! Dodge might make a faster truck one day, but damned if it'll look better than that.

Absolutely,
Scientific research in fact does show that Silver is by far the best color ......JR

Well that's what ICULOKN told me. As a matter of fact that is exactly what ever Silver L owner tells me. So, it must be true!!!!

Seriously Chikenears, that is one nice looking truck you have.

I hear that since white absorbs less heat from the sun...it goes faster because of the cooler temperature to the engine and the way the wind with glide over it more easily improving aero-dynamics.
