Hey Richard, sorry to hear about that man. Just think, everything goes in rotation so all this extremely bad luck your having should turn into extremely good luck soon. Sounds good anyway, right.

Richard
Sorry to hear about the truck and glad that you are ok. Just no need to post every little thing that happens or that goes on. I mean its like i just went out and checked the tire pressure on the truck and it was low and so i went to the gas station and put air in let me make a post on F150. I mean you start a post saying bad nite and got everyone thinking another 01 engine threw a rod and then you just post im going to bed?? Just doesnt make sense to me and just makes more uneeded posts. And im not just saying its you there are plenty of posts that shouldnt be made and ask doug notice how many have been moved lately. All im saying is no need to post every little thing that happens. I like coming here for the great info or ideas for mods i get for my LIGHTNING because this is a LIGHTNING message board. So lets stick to the subject that we all come here for our trucks.
Vin

Hey BadAzz516,

I understand where you are coming from with the idea that this should be an informative board and alot of the stuff posted isnt really necessary but the message board is also a community. And by ICULOKN posting about his accident, he is sharing his feelings about a particular topic, Ford Lightnings, and he knows that we understand how he feels and that we can relate and understand probably more then anyone else because we all share that common interest. Even though I dont know anyone of the posters here personally, I care about what everyone has to say. Regardless of what it is.

Rhino, a very good response, mature and intelligent. (not sarcastic) I guess what Badazz is saying is that a few years ago, you could get onto this forum and 'every' post was either a new mod or quarter mile time or something bad about a mod. New companies and new chips. Transmission problems, clunks and intercooler leaks. Very very helpful info about warrantees, intercooler sign-ins, etc.. Which chip was better or worse..etc. These trucks where brand new and it was comforting to know that when your truck started clunking, so did so many others. You learned what to say to your dealer and what the problem was, and how to fix it, before the dealers even knew there was a problem. Now it seems that a lot of the posts, although true, are in some way related to Lightnings, they somehow lost their zeal, their importance. But times are changing and it is becoming more of a community as you said Rhino. And as Vinnie said in his post, a post about him putting air in his tires would not make for a very interesting post. But now, I guess Vinnie, if you did, you would get numerous responses from the members of our community as to where and when they put air in 'their' tires. So good or bad, the forum changes. And people like ICULOKIN get to use this board as a place to vent, to share personal experiences, whether or not they are related to Lightnings. I guess if you own a Lightning, anything that happens to you is somehow 'lightning related'. Welcome to the new world Vinnie.
