Here is the cobra after the drop. Total time for the new mod was about 3 minutes. Total cost was $0, all I did was take it apart and remove the springs. Next victem of my boredom will be a ACR Viper. My girfriend may be right. I may have a problem.

Thats real nice. This may be a stupid question but do you drive it around or is it a trailer queen. From looking at one at a dealership it would be hard to drive it with that front lip on it on a regular street just at stock height. From that pic it looks like the tips will rip off as soon as you get out of the driveway.

When you take it for a ride, is it in the passenger seat of your Lightning?

I have a Viper, Cougar, Gt90 and a couple of Lightnings. Could you schedule them in for some of that suspension tuning?

Looks like you managed to get a couple of believers from that post. It's just a scaled model of one, guys.

I almost had the desire to fashion my self up a custom hood for my diecast Lightning. Maybe even an open air intake?? Hmmmm. Just think of the possibilites. Girls have their miniature doll houses and such, and guys tinker with diecast model cars. It's all good.

You know, if you would have snapped that pic with the model outside on some pavement with the camera down low, it could easily pass as the real thing. Thats how good the model looks!

Zeus, I'm pretty backed up right now but if you want to call and schedule then I think I could get you in next week. Speaking of the lightning model, last night I had the wheels off of my Mach III model trying to fit them on the lightning. I would have looked like 20" harley wheels on it since the mustang is a 1/18 and the lightning is a 1/21 scale. The offsets were wrong though so it was a no go. I'm going to go buy another lightning model today and do some "custom" work to it. If I knew that some people would have thought it was a real car then I would have diguised it a little better.

Oh yeah, Jim. I have a hummer too so maybe a lift kit would be in order for that. Great idea thanks!

You sure as heck got me on that one! If it wasn't for the post saying it was a model, I would have forever believed it would have been. I guess my teachers are right, I don't pay much attention to detail.
