Question Need for speed

Just a couple of quick questions:

-Have a buddy who's trying to set up a race with a friend of his whom apparently has a GMC Sonama Cyclone(I think it was). What kind of hp does it have? Saw pics of it, but they're keeping the power #'s secret. Should I be affraid? I think at one point I saw pics of one on this forum.

-How many mods would it take for an S2000 to hang with or beat a stock Lightning? Have someone who's talking crap aboot the Lightning. Need to set him straight. I slaughtered him. But now he's making excuses.

-There was a video a little while back that had a white Lightning beating a Z06 on some drag strip. The title to it was Z06 snack I do believe. Could someone please direct me to that link. I have doubters in my midst who don't believe in the force. The force of an L beating a Vette. Stock or modded. As Mr.T would say, "I pitty da foo who don't believe in da force."

Thanks all.

You have to remember, Some people buy cars they cant drive. I have beaten a few Z06's in my L, but I have had my but handed to my by some as well. The Z06's have KILLER top end speed & pulling power. A GMC Sonama Syclone is nothing to turn your nose up to. I have seen some run low 14's STOCK!! There are a few around here in the 11's. A S2000 is a bad ride as well. Alot of these cars are similar to the L meaning, not many mods to run 12's!! Be careful of your pickings, or pack you some extra power and not let many know...

My email address is planetmars@telus.net Thanks a lot man. I love that video.

Anyone have any numbers for the Syclone? Hp, torque, weight, etc? Just trying to do a little homework. Maybe I'll try looking some up on the net or something.

As for the S2000, that boy is going to be getting a comtech S/Cer, which is estimated to give him a little over 300hp, supposedly. Ya really got to wind that thing up and drive her hard to get up and going quick. I just may have to follow suit and add some goodies to mine already.

Zeus:

I'll send you the vid tomorrow from work........I'm home already!

I once kinda played around with an SC'd S2K, and they are fast as *****! It had Comptech Exhaust, Veilside Kit, and yellow 19's. I wouldn't have known it was SC'd unless I'd seen it once before at a car show with the hood up. But it was pulling away from me pretty hard. We didn't really race.........I was behind it at the light........He nailed it, then I followed suit shortly thereafter, and I was not reeling him in as I'm used to on most cars out on the streets...........It seemed to be pulling on me ever so slightly.

I wouldn't worry too much about that GMC its just a six banger back when I had my 96 Mustang GT I raced one and I beat it and my Stang was stock but the 5 speed helped me out in that race vs his auto.
