I "Smoked" an "L"

Ah yes there I was sitting at the corner or Division and Francis. My Power Stroke Diesel lulling me to sleep with its rattle. As I looked over to me right there it was, Red, shiny, rumbling, the Famed Lightning. It was my first Gen II to see on the road. My heart jumped as I straightned my self in my Cloth Captains chairs, the CB crackling in my ear my George Straight blaring. I looked down as I reved my engine redlining her near 3 K RPMS. A beast of beasts. I looked over to see if the man in the lightning would respond, he yawned. A ploy, reverse psychology. I knew he was scarred. The light on the opposite side turned red signaling me to the iminent green that would befall our side of traffic. GREEN, my foot smashed to the floor ,my 4x4 Diesel SCREAMED off the line. I look back and what do I see comming flying out the huge black plume of diesel SMOKE I left for that sucka. A friggen lightning a light speed going by me. Guess I showed him.

We're you on drugs or something? Or we're you dreaming? It has to be one or the other.

No where in my post did I say I killed that lightning. Infact he blew my doors off but he also knew I was jackin around with him when I was revving my engine. The Smoked the lightning was meant in reference to the huge plume of smoke from my exhaust not kicking his butt in a race. The entire post was meant as a joke, something fun to read. You people need to lightnen up.

Talking enlightning thread.....

LOL...

You know you may have leaned him out by making his precious Eaton 'shotgun' the 'plume'... or something.

Swofford -- scrap that home bbq and strap that propane onto your truck, then run him again.

Nice somkin! I got smoked by a friend in a Rav4 (with custom built smoke-screen option) when I was driving circles around him, heheh..

HEY!!!!

I thought it was funny too...

I didn't REALLY mean to flame you or anything....

Look again... there some smilies in there... If you look at MOST of my posts, you'll see I hardly ever use smilies...

My reply was REALLY meant as a humorous reply to a humorous thread!!!

HONESTLY!!!

I apologize for any offenses.....

I thought it was funny. I regularly "smoke" squirrels and other vermin on the shoulder of the road.

the smoke might have been from his tires, once he decided to put his foot in it, I am sure if you invite him to meet you at the track, he will meet you and ........ah.....spot you a few seconds..
