World's Fastest Lightning - 1/4 mile times

If you know, what is the 1/4 mile time for the fastest known Lightning. Also what year is it and if possible what mods did it take to get there. Thanks

Gen 1 or Gen 2?

I think Rhino's right about the PSP truck for Gen2's, but there are some faster Gen 1's (at least for now).

The "fastest" L that I know of is/was Jason Brown's 95 (if I remember correctly, it was a 95). It was running 7's back in 2000 at the WFC, but it was no where near stock! Attached a pic....

The PSP truck, I think, might have been using NOS to get the 11.2. The JDM test truck ran 11.405@118.50 without any spray. Hope this helps.

Sorry, I was thinking Gen2 but it's good to know about the speed of the Gen1. WOW! turning 7's in a pickup truck. That is impressive.

Just spoke with Jason not too long ago.His truck is disabled at the moment but is now sporting a twin turbo. His goal is to get into the 6 second bracket as soon as its up and running. BTW he said he would sell his truck for 60K if someone would make the offer!!I love that truck and to see it run is true bliss. Ain't no sound like it anywhere.
